I've seen all of the ones here as well as some scattered around. I got to say this guy makes we want to down an entire gallon of milk just so I can cannon it out of my nose all over my computer. He really knows the good, if any, and bad points of the games he reviews and doesn't just skim over the top like most others *cough* X Play *cough*. I saw his review for The Darkness on youtube, which has to be hilarious, even though he's practicaly taking a cheese grader to its balls.

The Darkness is an excellent game and i loved it.

On a lighter note that was another funny review.

I loved The Drakness as well, it's in my favorites list. Nothing more fun then dropping a massive dumpster on a mafia man's head, or even better, his own car.

I thought it was funny how he referred to it as a "Big, Dark, Gothy Failure" and that Jackie uses "licorice twizzlers".

Starbreeze Studios are very highly respected by me, only thing the game failed at was the multiplayer that was released in a very unstable and laggy state.

Re: The Escapist: Zero Punctuation

It seemed that many people found the drakness abilities to only have "recreational" value, and not that useful to the game aside from linear puzzle solving. On certain terms I have to agree with this, but not completely. I found that the abilities can get you out of some rough situations and does make the game more interesting. Aside from the abilities, Yahtzee was right about the stiff movements.

I thought the abilities were awesome, especcialy the Demon Arm and impaling people. Creeping dark was handy in some situations but not that many and the Black Hole was great for clearing out loads of enemies. Overall it was a criminally overlooked game and a classic in my eyes, much like their Chronicles Of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay (also awesome).
