Everything you need to know about the Knothole DLC

''Knothole Island is a new premium downloadable content pack for Fable II. Features include:
  • New area of Knothole Island
  • 3 new quest sets
  • 3 new dungeons
  • New outfits and weapons
  • New potions, including a weight loss potion
  • New augment system which gives players more control over weapon customization

Although originally scheduled to be released on December 22, 2008, it has been pushed back to late January 2009. It is expected to cost for 800 Microsoft points and will bring 3 new achievements.

The rumored achievements are listed below as:
  • The Collector (25GS) — Acquire all the mystery items in The Box of Secrets shop, or see another Hero do so.
  • The Meteorologist (50GS) — Bring all of Knothole Island's weather problems under control, or help another Hero to do so.
  • The Bibliophile (25GS) — Find all the books detailing the history of Knothole Island, or help another Hero to do so.''

There's already been a post about the achievements, but nice to see extra info.

Damn glad to see a weight loss potion. After the Spire I was fat as hell

It would have made sence to add on to the original game really, since so many people already play the first one, And already spent the money.

It is exciting to get something new! They get a chance to make money with our MP and we get to keep the game going and semi fresh.

to make you spend more cash when it comes down to it thats all these companies care about look, buy fable 2 with knothle 42 quid or buy fable 2 normal and then spend the points which costs you money to buy = they make more

( no posts about me saying fable 2 with knothle i knoew you cant buy a f2 copy with it as example...)

Thanx for somehow correcting him and then double posting it, Dagzey posted the achievements long ago with the pics with them 2. I do like the extra content ability from the 360 but it does overprice everything and is a great scam for money. It's ruffly 10$ if that 800P was true so they are saying Knothole is as gewd as 1/6 the game....doubt it it shewd be 600P.

Hopefully you can actually wear that Knights outfit on the page with all the information and whatnot.
