Fable 2 Collector's Edition: Cheaper and Less Desirable.

Curse you, "supply chain issues!" You can blame them for the undignified nerfing of the Fable 2 Limited Collector's Edition, which will now ship sans Fate Cards, adorable Hobbe figure and splendid, premium box. Thankfully, the reduction also affects the package's price, which will go down by $10 to $69.99 (£39.99 for our UK chums). It will still include a "making-of" DVD and the bonus in-game dungeon, weapon and Spartan armor.

To make up for the loss, Lionhead Studios has offered a downloadable Fable soundtrack. To obtain the tunes, visit sumthingdigital as of October 6th and enter "FableCollection" as a promotion code.

They should make an art installation, thousands of miniature Hobbes lined up in a giant grid like the terracotta warriors

i dont mind, the only thing that made it even worth while was the box and content, so for me its just like they took away the box, and gave it to me for a discounted price, so all is well still

The Fate Cards will be available in a PDF download format so the only thing we're missing is a box and the Hobbe. I wanted the Hobbe and because it was such a collectable I was going to get two copies of Fable II LCE. So I saved $90

Why would you even want fate paper. I hope I still get some of the extras as I preorder around 2 months ago making me one of the first.

Yeah, I bet your wife was happy. I'm just getting the regular. I love the look and it's still basicly the same game, minus a couple of things, but later maybe with a little dlc, I won't care, anyway.
Now if it came in a chest, like was it Soldier, that made it? I would have wanted it more. I really loved the chest. Oh well, I just want to play.

I like the cover, and it sounds good to me. Besides there's suppose to be a Fable 3. Then I'll be playing that, too. I'm a really lousy gambler, so I don't miss the pub games. I always loose, at the pub games in TLC.

and they were talking about making a fable 2 before fable tlc so dont expect it to be anytime soon moonXD

Maybe with their new engine, that took 2 of the years to build, we will see one in a year. I can only hope. I'll never get enough Fables.
