I was not being harsh, I was alerting a member to the fact that the thread was old and reminding them that they should check dates before posting...
whether you like me or not, my job here as Super Moderator is to enforce the Rules and make sure all are aware of what those are, especially new members who may not be fully aware of them...
perhaps next time it is you who should not be so harsh and presume my motives are malicious and instead consider that I am simply doing my job
