Fable 2 Crimes

Crimes should honestly vary between which town your in, but here's what I'd like to say:

-Brandishing a Weapon - 40 Gold penalty even if you put it away.
-Harassment - 100 gold (500 if done on someone wealthy and high respected)
-Vandalism - 100 for the poors property, 250 for average mans property, and 600 for wealthy respected peoples property.
-Tresspassing - only 200 gold
-Sexual harassment - 400 if done on the poor, 900 if done on the wealthy respected.
-Spell Casting - Certain towns or areas can be considered sacred, and it can be blasphemous to use spells. The fine for this violation is 400 gold.
-Breaking and Entering - Breaking in/Lock picking in and trespassing together, is a fine of 750 gold, including any robberys and assault which may have been involved.
-Attempted Breaking and entry - Lock-picking is a 200 gold offense if seen.
-Assault - 350 if done to the poor, 800 if done to the wealthy. (All assault fines are worth 250 more gold if done upon children)
-Violent Assault - Assaulting someone badly, or with intent to kill. 500 if done to the poor, 900 if done to the wealthy.
-Assault on an officer - Hitting an officer is a 500 gold offense, and can sentence you up to 4 months in prison.
-Armed Assault - 700 gold if done against the poor, 1200 if done against the wealthy. Can be up to 6 months to 1 year in prison.
-Spell Assault - 750 gold if done against the poor, 1250 if done against the wealthy.
-Attempted Murder - Striking someone to the point of near death, is a 1200 gold fine, and you can go to prison for 8 months.
-Murder - 3000 gold for killing a man, or a 5 year prison sentence.
-Murder of a woman - 4000 and Life in prison
-Murder of a child - 5000 and Life in prison.
-Massacre - 10000 fine and life in prison, you get this offense after murdering 8 or more people in a town. Doesn't stack with murders.
-Attacking Town - Armed assault on a guard, or armed assault on more than 3 villagers, will get you this 3000 gold fine. Includes assaults but does not stack with murders. Attack on a town is a serious offense, and is punishable with up to a 2 year sentence in prison, unless murder is involved, increasing it greatly.
-Invading town - Leading Bandits or followers into armed attacks against towns is one of the worst offenses. Depending on the number of your murders you can go to prison for 7 years to life sentence if caught and captured. The fine is 12000 gold.

Hold Cell Penalty -- If you refuse to pay fines and are defeated by guards, you are sent to the holding cell for a day. You can also willingly choose to pay fines through jail time.

Inprisonment Penalty -- If fines are nasty such as murder, or attacking town, you are sent to a prison like Bargate, a nasty place somewhere far away from town. Sentences here aren't pretty. You either spend years of time in this place, or must find a way to escape or bribe your way out early.

Escaping Prison -- You can get out of prison several ways:
1- You can have "Friends" you've met in the game, come and bail you out with cost
2- You can have "Friends" you've met in the game, come and rescue you
3- You can have "Friends" you've met in the game, replace you for a nobleman they have captured.
4- You can make bribes with some of the local prison guards
5- You can make friends with fellow inmates, and start a prison riot.
6- You can use lock picking if guile level is high enough

Wow, shame I didn't notice this thread before. Looks as though the thread starter really put some thought into some of the penalties incurred by breaking the law in Fable 2. Me likey.

I really like the idea of being sent to prison. Even if it would just be some cinematic (like when you marry) and add the years equall to your sentance to your character's age. It would add alot of realism that Fable didn't have.

I also like the idea of prison. Maybe you have to be in there for a certainamount of days, or years. Maybe you can talk to other prisoners (your neighbor might be your henchmen you just got), and just maybe you can escape it like in FABLE TLC.
