Fable crashing on game save

I played Fable with no problems but since about 2 days ago every time i do a quest and it saves it just crashes, asking whether to send an error report to MS.

Specs:
AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4200+ (2 CPUs), ~2.2GHz
2046MB RAM
ATI Radeon X1600 Series

Has this happened to anyone else? is there a fix for it? Thanks.
