fable 2 hands down. the combat system is very well done and i really like how they made each experience correspond to the controller button the combat style goes with. They smoothed out the clothing so that not everyone is wearing the same thing or using the same weapons (which i LOVE). They made excellent use of xbox live with trading and furthered that feature with achievements like the dollcatcher and the collector. Fable gets an 8/10, fable 2 gets a 9/10 (only because of all of the bug and glitch reports though)

I thought the combat system sucked, it makes the combat way to easy. And now it is all more button mashing than before. And the magic system sucked. Really bad. And I mean REALLY bad. And there was a very small clothing selection. And no freaking armour? Like what the cheese?

when i first heard guns in fable 2 i was like "omg wtf!!!! ruined!!!" then i warmed up to it and now i kinda like it, then i heard no armor and i was like "aw ffs... ruined" then i played it and saw why there was no armor and now i think it was an awsome move on LH part but i do strongly agree that the magic system sucks balls in fable 2

Actually I don't think they are comparable. They are good in so different areas. Fable 2 was more beautiful and had a better combat system whilst Fable had a better storyline and a warm fuzzy feeling that I haven't felt in any other game. They are both awesome and always will be in my opinion. 500 post BTW.

There's no armour because Mr.Molenyeux liked the idea of not having to change clothes because of the armour rating. so you can choose what clothes you like and not have to worry about being stat deprived.

Stat deprived? What's the point if you can't make your own decisions on that sort of stuff? In Fable 1 I wore what I wanted to despite the stats. If they were really that worried, put some more effort into the ability to upgrade instead of remove the whole armour thing. And they could have at least put more clothing in.

And sorry for any errors in my typing, but the iPod touch has a really bad habit of changing words to what I don't want.

Fable 1 was amazing, it was the game that got me fulliy into gaming,i mean it changed my life literaly!!! i mean the first time i began playing it i was like, hmmm this looks cool, then after an hour i was like OMG OMG OMG BEST ****ING GAME EVER, and even now i can put in my disc (i dont anymore bcause its framed =3) and go OMG OMG OMG BEST ****ING GAME EVER, i mean fable left a somthing big to aspire too, i guess fable 2 wasnt big enough, i was really let down =(, it didnt give the same ooooh aaaaaah feeling fable gave, i mean when i frist started playing fable 2, i was like OMG OMG OMG BEST GAME EVER, hour later hmmm this is ok, getting a little boring, then by the time i completed it i was like =_= i want my money back. I havnt played the DLC yet but im sure it wont change my opinion.

How is Fable 1 better than Fable 2?
Fable 2 has a better story, better graphics, bigger regions, more to explore, future DLC, swinger parties, you can swim, dyeable clothes...

To sum it all up, Fable 2 is a hell of a lot better than Fable 1 in every way - well ok the clothes suck compared to Fable 1, but that's it! - that is IT!

Fable 2 is much better IMO and ur question about armours? why would u need heavy armours when guns can shoot right through them?... they made it to suit that time line the story was in... you didnt see guns in fable 1 now did u..

Fable by far. I played for a week straight just so I could watch the children and surprise them at there school. Didn't get old forrr aaa lonnng time. Whereas in Fable 2 there was no school dammit!

On a side note, where the fu*k is my music!? The beautiful violins, and whatnot sound like they got down graded! I have to listen to a shi*ty music-box? What the cheese dude?
