I have both but Fable TLC doesn't seem to recognize my xbox 360 controller. I have tried the official drivers and the modded drivers for the controller but no luck. Anybody have a mod/fix for this problem?

Need latest SDK Update after these from what ive looked into:


Download details: DirectX 9.0 SDK Update - August 2005

Download details: DirectX SDK - (February 2007)

Could try this maybe...

Download details: Xinput Driver for Microsoft Common Controller (32 Bit)

(From what i have researched)

Then run the test if you get the blue screen with the stats of your Xbox 360 controller, then you should be ok.

Then start your game up, your green light should light up and it should work. Im not 100% sure what games are compatible with it so its just a matter of trial and error.

Strangely difficult to find info and list of games that work for it, though some patches and updates have been released.

Thanks man hopefully this helps. I thought the game would have to be modded though because the controller works for my N64 emulator. I'll definately try it out though. Thanks again.

I haven't really spent much time with it because I had a computer crash BUT I was able to map two or three controls and they worked . I need to get a scan of the Fable TLC xbox manual so I can know what buttons are for what.

Block: Y
Attack: X
Interact: A
Flourish/Run: B
Target Lock On: Left Trigger
Hold For Magic & Collect Orbs: Right Trigger
Movement/Zoom Bow: Left Stick

Only game ive used the 360 controller on PC with is Rainbow Six Vegas and it works amazingly well.

Has to be a wired one, you just plug it in and let your PC detect and install it and then download the drivers for it from Microsofts website.

Then to map your keys for most games use this:

Add gamepad / joystick support to any game - Pinnacle Game Profiler

Im not entirely sure what the limitations of the software are to be honest.
