Fable Pub game...

This mini game....SUCKS!!!!!! Why didn't the company make a game that took skill and not luck!?! Make a game that takes hand-eye coordination, reaction speed, something other than blind luck! Stupid people who thought of these games...morons.

well if it was skill then people that got good at it would have a redeculus amount of money when fable 2 came out and even if your arent good at it youd be able to just keep playing over and over again so eaither way when fable 2 came out people would just buy all of albion or a city and the game would be a cinch well atleast the financial part. and if they were just about skill the amount of money youd make wouldnt be worth it considering the points i made above so youd be pised off anywase so.... ill take the pub games

Sorry you didn't like the Pub games. First off, I see it's your first post. I don't know what to say. Cough, welcome to the forums. Hope you enjoy your stay.

If you're looking for strategy, play in the Fortune's Tower Tournament. You play against five AIs and you definitely employ strategies of how much to bet and when to get out with respect to the AIs. It's difficult in the beginning at the lower star tables, but if you can manage to get to a 5 start tourni-table (Fortune's Tower), the buy-in is 500 with a first place prize of 7,400 gold (2nd 5,500; 3rd 2,400; 4th 1,850; 5th 1,300). You need to earn points in the regular (single player) tables to boost your star rating.

This is how I've been able to accrue 143,582 gold so far. It takes time but it's EXTREMELY rewarding when you beat those AIs and come in first place... especially when they're greedy and try for one more hand and lose.

When you feel like you're getting frustrated, best thing to do is just cash out (even when you're behind) and cool off so you can focus. There's strategy, you just have to be patient.

I personally believe the Pub Games were godlike.

Fable Related, they give you stuff for Fable, and i chuckled to the names of opposing players.

I thumbs up this XBLA game.

They are brilliant games, it seperates the Skillfull levels in real fable world to another world where it comes to luck and a bit of skill if you know what your doing..

So i think they dida brilliant Job.. I love having to think and being Challenged.. So they did GREAT!

Because they're gambling games and the only factor that matters in gambling is luck. Yeah, they're the morons because you expected gambling games that didn't require actual gambling. Maybe next time you purchase a game, you should pay attention to what the game actually is.

I can honestly say that I had no patience for that game. I took it for a spin once, and never tried it again unless absolutely necessary..

The Pub games he's talking about are completely different than the first Fable's Pub Games, which did require you to have some skill to win. The one's he's talking about are luck based games that they released on the XBL marketplace for you to make a bit of money for when the game finally rolls around.

Yeah, I don't like that attitude - that's not the way to speak to anyone - especially new people - here and this person is entitled to express their frustration with the Pub Games. I share this frustration although I do find them strangely addictive at the same time.

I like Pub Games, its so satisfying when you get the Jackpot in Tower but MEGA frustrating when your second line is engulfed in flames, or your own Bridge Card is the goddamn card that set on fire !
