Bethesda has announced that the fifth and final chapter of DLC for Fallout 3, Mothership Zeta, will be available to download on August 3rd. In this brand new content, players will leave the Capital Wasteland to battle somewhere extremely new to the Fallout 3 universe -- outer space! Defying hostile alien abductors, players will have to fight their way off of the massive spaceship. The new content will also feature brand new weapons, including the Alien Atomizer, Alien Disintegrator, and Drone Cannon, as well as new outfits and characters.

The new content will be available for 800 MSP ($10) when it launches on August 3rd for Xbox Live and Games for Windows Live. Playstation 3 owners will see the DLC at a later date.

Fallout 3 Updated to 1550

Mothership Zeta will be adding four new achievements for another 100 points, bringing the grand total for Fallout 3 to 1550. MZ will be available August 3rd for 800MSP.

I'm really looking forward to playing the Modership Zeta add-on but, sadly, I won't get the chance until around late-October. I've pre-ordered the Fallout Game of The Year edition because it comes with all DLC and works out cheaper in the long run, but it's not released until... late-October.
