Ubisoft and Crytek have just released a a tech demo trailer and a handful of screenshots of its upcoming sequel to its smash hit Far Cry. At least this one has been confirmed for consoles already by Ubisoft so we wont all have to sell any organs to pay for a PC to run it.

It also begs the question of course, what kind of PC hardware will you require to get the game running at that level of detail? But then it is coming to Xbox 360 and PS3 too, which Ubisoft confirmed at the start of the year.

Well Far Cry 2 isnt finished yet and is still in production.

Good thing it's available for the 360 & PS3, so I won't have to break a leg upgrading my computer.

Yeah thats the only reason i didnt get Crysis, when my PC is upgraded i will but you need a monster of a PC to do it any justice.

PC version is damn good, console version was quite poor by the PC's standard.

Shouldnt imagine they will increase the specs it needs by much, that was after all peoples main reason for not getting Crysis. However with it also launching on Xbox 360 and PS3 they wont have to worry about sole sales on PC.

It was nothing compared to the PC version, the Xbox version was quite poor and a watered down version too.

No most things were changed about it unfortunately.

Although the expansion pack did teach an important lesson about not having sex with strangers.

Don't get me wrong, though, I love all the Far Cry's, but the PC one is definitely better for the most part.
