Dragon Warrior III, far and away. Probably the best handheld RPG ever.

Pokemon Crystal is awesome too.

Not many people disliked the pokemon series of GBC games

though we wouldnt admit we liked them now.

The pokemon games are pretty cool, but I HATE the comebat system, it's really boring

There is also a "Yellow" version where you actually follow the episodes/movies story line and actually start out with Pikachu instead of a choice between the Fire/Grass/Water ones...

It's really cool, Pikachu doesn't like to be in a Pokéball and actually walks behind your character all the time.

Yeaaah...sure haven't played it since I was a kid...nope, I am way too mature for that...

Yeah there were LOADS of variations, it almost got as bad as the sims
