Final Fantasy 7: Beating Ruby

A whole lotta people on the internet use the wrong method of beating Ruby. I have made a sure proof way to never die while beating Ruby.

  1. Have Cloud armour be Mystile. Then put him a Ribbon.
  2. Equip Cloud with: Master Command Counter-(link)-Mime ; Knights of the Round ( 2 stars )-(link)- HP Absorb ; Life 2-(link)- Final Attack ( *Any Level) ; W Summon
  3. Kill the other 2 party members.
When you go into battle, Ruby will put his claws behind you. Simply cast Knights of the Round 2X. After the first, Cloud will drain a lot of HP form Ruby. Also the second.

If you want, you can go make yourself a sandwich now....

Every time you get attack by Ruby, you will just counter with Mime. The last thing you did was Knights of the Round 2X. This will not cost any MP. When you attack Ruby, you get HP. So much HP, it will fill up your HP Bar. The Claws in the back cannot harm you because of the Ribbon. You will just hit Ruby with Knights of the Round.

* If anything bad were to happen, you still got Final Attack, but it only works for as much stars you have on it. It's just to be safe.

There is a sure fire way to beat Ruby.

Yeah, I've killed Ruby years ago, with almost that same strategy. Course, you could simply just kill Ruby with one hit by using Cait Sith's "Game Over" with the slots (as I've done against Emerald Weapon).

How good is Red XIII in the game?
I`ve never played it, but he seems to be one of the coolest characters.

I really enjoy his personality. But in terms of Limit Breaks, I'd say he's on par with Cloud Strife. Thus I've always had him in my party, whenever I had the chance.

On the outside, he's at times a cool badass, but deep down.. he's like a teddy bear. Although it was pretty funny seeing Barret come in contact with Cid, two hot heads with potty mouths.

And who is the most powerful character in the game? I mean, a character you can have, not the final boss or something.

Any of them, it just depends on how much effort you put into that character. But in terms of special moves, it goes to Cloud for having the Omnislash (strongest finisher in the game). That limit break is on Youtube if you want to see it.
