The Force Unleashed

I was wondering if anyone besides myself is looking forward to TFU? I'm really looking forward to it, and can't wait till Sept. 16th.
It really seems as if the visuals and color are going to be great. Any comments?

Oh no, did I see where they might delay it for 360? Boy I hope not, cause that's what I want for my B-day 9-13. Is'nt that yours? Anyway everything I've seen so far is so exciting, I can't wait to play, just like fable 2.

The delay was from long ago and not a recent one, as the game was originally meant to be released last year. However it was delayed until spring this year and then delayed again until September. My birthday is Feb 9th if thats what you were referring to.

Something you might be interested in, new CVG article and screenshots posted a couple of minutes ago.

By the looks of these (admittedly, fantastic looking) screenshots, the game is a lot like prequel era Star Wars, with big mushrooms and lots of alien looking planets instead of BBC sets and forests in Hertfordshire.

And lots of debris. Presumably because all of the war stuff happens between the two film trilogies when the game takes place. Just a quick thought - surely this would have made a better movie than the political dramas of the prequels?

Anyway (and putting our frustrations aside), cinema's loss is our gain. There are plenty of objects to throw at enemies and lots of sharp surfaces to impale adversaries on, plus a lightsaber to cut albino Rancor's into bits. Considering players will be taking control of a homicidal Dark Jedi, we can't imagine a setting more suited to the character.

Well, maybe the temple with the kiddie Jedi in out of Episode 3. Maybe that will be a bonus round.

Sorry about b-day mistake. I can see from all the links, you"re looking forward to it as much as I am.
The glass will break like real glass, things will splinter, the enemies will react more realistic. The concept art is fantastic. I'm about to burst with anticipation.

Oh wow, thanks for the new screens. + rep, for all your help.

The Euphoria Engine is looking amazing and we have had a very slight taste of it with GTA IV. Though the Force Unleashed is going to use it to the extreme and really show what it is capable of.

I know! I loved the trailor with the ship coming in and he made it stop, right before him. The pilot to his plane is good, and I heard she might influence the main character, into doing the right thing. I'd love to **** off Dark Vador.

It's My B-Day
and I'm hoping for it for my birthday too!!
There are two vidoes on XBL one of which is the one where the main charicter rips a star destroyer from the sky and one where the developers talk about the game

Quote:
Head Designer to his crew
"What is the main focus of game play?"

The whole crew in unison
"Kicking *** using the Force"
This is going to be a great game

I know, the visual effects, and I bet the audio, is tremendous, probably use headphones, to hear every little sound.
Oops, I remember now it's your B-day with mine. Glad you reminded me.
It's been so long since they came out with a new game. Except of course Battlefront for Playstation. I have 360, so I'll miss that one.

I bought Halo 3 when it first came out. I love playing it , but I got a little bored with it. I know how could I? It's very fast paced. When I get into the mood to blow things up, I play it. But theres no force colors and spells. I love magic power and colors.
