Just curious. I looked in the FAQ and couldn't find anything.

Re: Forum Ranking - How does it work?
If you mean the villager to legend ranking of regular members, then it is directly proportional to the number of posts you make. The more posts, the higher ranking you become.
If you mean the bard titles, for example, then that is just for those invited by the staff here to become part of the team and contribute certain things.
And if you mean the green pips, well that's the rep system and if you are helpful and productive, people may decide to reward you by giving you positive reputation which you can check out in your user cp. This is not mandatory though and not everyone receives rep despite their best efforts.
Having said all this, I'm probably still not answering your question at all

It's a gift...also known as "supreme sad case syndrome"
I needed to expend a little pent up aggression anyways so it was the perfect opportunity to type loudly for a while

Well Then, I thought his question could've meant anything. The color of peoples names, Reputation, the name under his user name, what his posts do.
Also my internet was crappy, so why would I want to type out a long explanation if I didn't think it would go through, Not to mention if I answered his question wrong I'd feel pretty stupid. If I know what the exact question is, I can answer correctly.
I mean it'd be like asking me to fullfill one of my signature requests without knowing what the person wants. Futile.

Re: Forum Ranking - How does it work?
Which is why I gave Angel Rep, for taking the time to write a long, semi-detailed explanation.
