Will F2 have free roaming? i.e. Oblivion
(Any more invisible barriers/walls)

Will F2 have more interactive items? i.e. Oblivion
(Such as in the original Fable, when you walked up to a book shelf, you were not able to interact with individual books, but rather 1-a few books.) Thats just one miniscule example.)

And I thought I read we could go swimming, any truth in that?

And any confirmation on map size?

I remember that Peter Molunex said in an interview that invisible walls would not be as prominent (i.e. the edge of a cliff), and that a free-roaming aspect would be a definite possiblity. In the original Fable, he suggested (though it did not make it to the game) that if you saw a location, you could go there. Hopefully, he may impliment these aspects into the game. And as you mentioned some of Oblivion's features, I cannot help but wonder how those features would function in Fable 2...

As much as i love Oblivion... this is Fable NOT an Elder Scolls game....

I agree. Fable has a different personality all its own. Everyone wants Fable 2 to be better than the first and so comparing it with other games that we like as well is a good way to help. That being said I don’t want it to look like a rip off of other games. The creators have been great at surprising us with new techniques and I can’t wait to see what they have in store for the environmental movment controls.

Yeah as much as i like Oblivion i dont want Fable to have to 'steal' or 'borrow' ideas from it when the designers are more than capable of making their own that are unique to Fable.
