Free Soundbytes?

Well, I need to do a montage sort of thing for my VET course which involves editing and mashing together whole heaps of sound files. I was thinking I'm gonna do mine will just quotes from popular cartoons like South Park, Family Guy, The Simpsons, Futurama, and Team America (not technically a cartoon, but what you gonna do about it?). The only problem is that I need to have all the correct paperwork to make the use of these sound files legal. So I can't really use anything off limewire or without someones permission. Anyone know where I can find some funny quotes from these cartoons freely and legally?

I could be wrong but I'm almost 99.99*% sure that you can use whatever soundbytes you like provided you do not use them for commercial use, ie: Selling them on after you've edited them. I think you should be okay to edit them and use them for your coursework.

You can find the legal MP3's released by the band over them years here: Free Tunes - TMBW: The They Might Be Giants Knowledge Base (Yes, its one of their official sites...)
I would say there are about 30-40 songs... take your pick!

And for the others: Try downloading some! Its a great band!

I know it's free, but since I'm doing a music industry course, I need the documentation as if I was going to use it.

I'm not really after music. My teacher gave me some more ideas where I can find the documentation... But I could always record a song... That could be fun. And I did just get a new guitar....
