Gamertag question

Hey all. As some of you might know I've had my 360 for a while now, but I only just signed up on xbox live. I tried signing up with arseface but it was taken so i ended up using the alias Topaxi (the discworld God of Certain Mushrooms, Great Ideas that you Forgot to Write Down and Will Never Remember Again, and of People who Tell Other People that 'Dog' is 'God' Spelt Backwards and Think that this is in Some Way Revelatory). And since my other, non live, account, Arseface has all my gamerscore on it, I was wondering if I could transfer the gamerscore onto Topaxi perhaps?

There is a way you can do it but its quite confusing and annoying to do. I tried it myself, but after 45mins of frustration i gave up. I will post a link to an article that might help when i get home if you wish.
