GameStop stores predicts fable 2 will be out around the begining of 2008 not the end so probably around Febuary guys...

Now, can we really trust a store? How do we know they're not just trying to lure you into pre-ordering it from them, if you haven't already?

no i did not pre-order i just asked nicely about what they have heard

i do think it is coming out in the begining of 2008 besides what GameStop says anyway

Can't really trust Gamestop on those kinds of things most of the time, since the employees mainly follow on internet & magazine rumors. Best to just wait till proper confirmation from Lionhead themselves, as with any other game being made by it's respected developers.

also its probably earlier in 2008 is that the team has multipied atleast by 10 from what they had of when made fable 1 so things are done better and much faster ;D wa ha

Well, I read recentley that its scheduled release is the end of this year, Thats a big bummer. Also I work at gamestop and sometimes we say things thinking we know and then realize we were wrong, and by that time your already gone and we never see you again. I know that I used to answer questions like that, just because I wanted to please the customer. Like they said gamestop isnt making fable so dont trust what they say, they cant even tell you when they can give you a wii. But no one really knows when its coming out, but gamestop might be right.But they dont know whats in their shipments. SO I dont think they know when fable 2 is releasing, but I could be wrong.

Most stores generally use a placeholder date because it's apparantly to hard to write "TBA"

he has still got to announce the third big feature which is in febuary and when looking at the video diary's, it still needs more doing up

The first place holder date I saw was January 1st, 2007
These things mean absolutely nothing. Did you by chance ask how he knew when is was coming out?
Peter Molyneux has said on repeated occasions that it is coming out Late 2008. The most recent of these was this one
