Getting rid of books?

I just started an Evil Mage sorta file, and I'm doing the Book collection side quest in Bowerstone. I picked out some random books from the guild and bowerstone, and a lot of them are evil books. I want the Dark Wizard Hat, but he is only accepting the books with a lighter nature. Is there a way to get rid of those pesky "Good Books?"

(Note: I am playing on an Xbox that isn't modded.)

some traders will purchase the odd book from you, you could see if any of them will take them...
or the charity lady might take them...
have you already given him some good books? cause I think if you have that's all he'll take from then on... but can't exactly remember for sure...

I'll try that, but I don't think it will work because the "Good books" I have are from the guild. I'll give it a go, though.

I restarted from an autosave, so I haven't given him anything yet.

oh no... if your good books are from the guild I don't think there's anything you can do...
if you want to get the evil wizard's hat you pretty much have to stay away from the guild books

ive got TLC on xbox as well. and i got the dark wizards hat, and some of the books u need are from the guild, heres a list.

A Love Story
The Pale Balverine
The Tale of Maxley
The Tale of Twinblade
Eyes of a Killer
The Guild of Zeroes
The Repentant Alchemist
The Sock Method
You Are Not a Bad Person

The first four can be found in the Heroes’ Guild, and the last five can be found in Bowerstone South. If you want to play further into the game, then you could also try books like The Windbreaker Rulebook and The Ugly Guide, both found in Oakvale.

make sure you dont give him any others.

if you want to get the good wizards hat just give him every book he excepts pretty much, make sure theres a few good ones tho cause he'll except bad ones too.

Simple enough. The second story of the guild, and all of bower stone..I figured this out months ago.

Get it? Just the SECOND STORY of the guild. the book shelves where all the beds are. Ignore the library on the first story. And you should be fine.

basically....get the books from the guild if u want the good will hat....if u wanted the dark one..then u need to steal from bowerstone to get the books...

No. That's not it. The Dark Books that are required are in the SECOND STORY of the guild (the Guild dorms where all the beds are like I said.) AND bower stone.
The Good books are in the guild Library.. Near the Quest map.
