Re: Good or Bad day
Not a lot of time on this fourm lately and it makes me sad. The people living with me have been using the computer for watching shows so I've had limited access. Days have been going pretty good. ..stupid time of the month..but no one wants me to get into that. Everythings good. Got some money from my dad that he owed me & was blackmailing me with. My birthday was okay. I got new games and a new glowing PS2 controller that's see through, and blue.....mmm it's like the sun when it's on. I use it for lighting my way. Lol anyway........Just all around good days.

Yay, see-through! Everything is better when it's see-through. Computer casing, console controllers and womens underwear and T-shirts, 'tis all good.

Re: Good or Bad day
Well yesterday was good - up until I killed my kid's hamster...we chucked it in the wheely bin outside and now I gotta figure out a cute way of telling my kid her pet is dead.
Steve wanted to take pictures too but I did mention that perhaps that wouldn't be the most tactful thing to do considering the circumstances...

Re: Good or Bad day
Well, I gave it food like a week ago and usually it's ok with that - but when I went to change its bedding yesterday it smelt bad and Trax wasn't even interested in it - lifted up he tissue and lo and behold an incredibly stiff dead hamster fell out.
I'm in soooooooooooo much trouble...

Oh noes! How old is your kid? You know, all hamsters sorta look alike and if your kid is young enough she might not see the difference, if you get my drift....

Re: Good or Bad day
My day was a good day. I ate breakfast with my best friend and helped him cover some book issues for Crimson Tears, the local LARP in Macon, which he helps run. Then I came home and finished writing up a plot line for my brothers’ game on Saturday. Now I am working and the place is all but dead. At least I don’t have to worry with most of this the rest of the week.
On the hamster situation I would just try to explain to the child that all things live and die. It is a good lesson to learn early on. However, depending on the child’s view of the hamster and his/her emotional attachment to the animal it could be a lesson better left to learn later, perhaps after he/she has a new animal to care for.

She's pretty familiar with death as she has encountered it quite a few times already but this will probably be the first time it has involved an animal and one that belongs solely to her at that. She won't be getting a new one but hopefully Christmas will take the edge off it all...

Ah, the life of a privileged hamster, eh? Badger (not my idea - I wanted to call it Fubar) has spent the last year living on 1 dish of food per week and never any problems. Maybe it was the stress of moving house? Every pet I've ever had has died shortly after moving house - and I've moved house about 11 times now in 6 years...

Another good day for me... mostly...
was supposed to be out buying pants finally so I could avoid the perils of winter in a pair of shorts... but got sidetracked and ended up with 2 new books and devil may cry 3... oh well, I made my choice...
gamed for a while, spent a couple hours with my favourite drunk...
and now I'm attempting to buckle down and finish the essay I have due tommorrow on the socio-economic and political factors behind the witchcraze of Europe and North America... I hate college...

What are you studying?
Good day for me. Server backups are running smoothly, Year End Close is shaping up, fixed problems for four major players at work and got my gold membership here.
