Saturday was a good day - I went back to my home town and as I was walking through the town centre with my two best mates, my sister walked past with my kid who screamed "Mummy!" at the top of her voice, threw herself at me and burst into tears - we haven't seen or spoken to each other in a fortnight so it was so good to see her. It was one of those moments where no one else seems to be around and nothing matters except the two of you right there.
Then we had hot chocolate and I managed to sort some stuff out with my sister who has been mad at me for like 2 months now and everything's cool again. Oh, and I got to see Santa and that cheered me right up - felt like a kid again
