Good character model doesn't compare to the evil one
Fable does several things real well such as the humor, spell animations, and character models. Before I left for Bargate prison, my alignment was all the way to the left. I had small white horns – about 2 inches – and normal eyes. After returning from Bargate prison, I had massive 7+ inch black-red horns, glowing red eyes, and a red aura around my feet. So your alignment might be all the way to the left and you might think that this is as evil as you will look, but that's not true. Then, after I killed Jack in the chamber of fate, I lost my huge black-red horns, glowing eyes, and the red aura. Obviously, killing Jack gives huge good points.
I think the developers spent more time creating the appearance of an evil character than a good character. If you're a good character you get a halo and apparently blue eyes. I actually don't remember the blue eyes so they couldn't have stood out that much. That's all you get. If you're an evil character you get massive black-red horns, glowing red eyes, a red aura at your feet, and insects all around you. All these things I noticed. They all stood out. The appearance of the good character is fine, but the evil character looks great. Seems like they could have spent a little more time on the appearance of the good character.

Re: Good character model doesn't compare to the evil one
that's what sorta made me mad,was the fact that lionhead wants you to be evil, seeing as the chance FOR evil is around EVERY CORNER.while you have to go look with an excavation crew for good.
and....good looks like crap.but evil looks worse for me cause of my poo gfx card.

Re: Good character model doesn't compare to the evil one
Uh. Wrong.
If your good you get
A three layered Halo
A Bright light that shines down upon you from above
Butterflies
Blue Eyes
Blonde Hair
the Evil Character gets
Horns
Evil Brown/Red Clouds
Flies
Brimstone hands and Feet
Black Hair
Seems pretty Even To me

Subjectively, it's uneven. I plain don't like what the good guy looks like. I mean, blue-eyed blonds are naturally good? What the hell? I did like the butterflies, though. Buterflies have ben associated with the souls of dead loved ones (especially children) for years, which I thought fit the character and was something I personally like. The light was pretty good, too. And the halo was okay,
Objectively? It's exactly even, just as Sephi listed.

Just because you don't LIKE what the good guy looks like doesn't mean it's uneven.

Re: Good character model doesn't compare to the evil one
SUBJECTIVELY. (see the big long first paragraph?) My opinion. I think it looks bad. It's uneven because I look cool when I'm evil and like some Aryan nutjob's idea of an angel when I'm good.
OBJECTIVELY. (see the little sentence at the end of my post in its own paragraph?) It is even.

Reason: Added smartassness about the appearance of the good Hero.

Oh, and if the good guy stands in a corner you can see a light around him, not from above but eminating from the hero.
(And blonde / blue eyes is much cuter than black hair / red eyes...)

Re: Good character model doesn't compare to the evil one
OK I may have forgotten a few things, but I don't remember blond hair at all. I remember having white hair before going to Bargate prison and after. I do remember now the butterflies.
I just finished playing as an evil character yesterday. I again had white hair - not black, with a red aura near my feet. I never noticed anything about the hands and feet but I wasn't looking so I'll take your word for it.

I thought you got brimstone hands and feet from casting Berzerk a lot? I was never sure about that though.

Pretty sure not. My hands looked all weird-ish when I was evil, but I never used berserk. Never even got the points in it until WAY at the end when I was just screwing around.

I've never used berserk ever in my entire gameplaying of fable. I've had brimstone hands and feets.

The evil effects are much more... "effectful". Simple as that. Perhaps they should've added angelic wings or something to the good one.

[thinks] Wings... You know, that might actually have looked cool. Illusory phantom-type wings, like the halo and the butterflies. Yeah.
