Yeah not actual fluffy physical wings, but some sort of shimmer. The evil hero you can see he is Satan incarnate, but the good guy looks like any blond Joe Smoe, until he stands still and the butterflies appear.

Well, I like the butterflies, but yes. Exactly. And I don't like the Good=Blue-eyed Blond thing. No. Nots at all.

EDIT: Wasn't there a discussion like this before?

I thought the whole effect for being good and evil thing was waaay over done. Just overkill IMHO.

Well, I always liked it; but you're entitled to your opinion. Even if it is clearly hideously wrong, as it differs from mine; and I am clearly all-knowing and perpetually correct.

(Yes, that was sarcastic. I fully recognize that I am often wrong; and freely admit ignorance when I am. And this is an opinion thing.)

I think the bright blond hair just represents purity and goodness or whatever... When you think angelic you think bright/blinding/white... but if they gave him just plain white hair he'd always look old. Not sure its necessarily an Aryan reference.

the good guy is definately not as noticable as the evil one. Maybe a blue aura to match the evil red one?

I don't think it WAS a racist reference. I think it was just an unfortunate coincidence.

But I really don't see why white/blond hair would be purity... or goodness. Or whatever.

And no, when I think angels, I don't think white, not beyond, possibly "white robes."
