GTA 4 v.s. Saints Row 2

So which game do you believe is going to be better?

My Thoughts

GTA> Massively reknown, and has always come through with somthing good. This game has a good chance of destroying its biggest rival SR2 in 2008.

SR2> Most people exspected this to just be another GTA wannabe but after making the platnium list, people began to look at it differently. Will this dominate sales over the o' so loved GTA, will GTA meet its match, and will billy make it out of the well?

Never played Saints Row but im pretty sure Rockstar will get the GTA series back on its feet with GTA IV.

i have high hopes for gta 4 too, and i strongly recomend trying saints row.

Couldn't get on with Saint's Row when I played it...perhaps 2 will be better?

Yeah, when I played it, it felt like a prettier version of GTA: San Andreas. Though I did have alot of fun causing a ruckus on the streets, and running away from various gangs.

I think that was my main issue with it - it was too much like GTA...but then if I had never played a GTA game I probably wouldn't have considered that as a factor and would have been able to rate the game on its own merits...

From what I've heard and seen SR2 is promising just a lilttle more than GTA 4. One thing that caught my eye about GTA 4 was that it has NO connections to the other GTA games, Was not exspecting that. Something that caught my eye about SR2 was its rather dark storyline of betrayal and revenge.

I've never been able to get into the GTA games. I'm not entirely sure why. Especially considering the satirical bit, I normally eat that stuff up. Plus, well, confirmed co-op in Saint's Row 2? Ability to not only create your own character but as either gender? I'm in >_>
