Take-Two have recently announced that the much drooled-over title, Grand Theft Auto IV will not be released this Ocotober as previously thought, but will instead be delayed until the second quarter of 2008, sometime between next February and April.

I for 0ne dont mind at all, the next few months have some of the best best titles to grace any games platform ever on the way so im more than happy with them to be honest so dont mind waiting for best ever GTA either. This was one game that Sony were hoping would start shifting the Playstation 3 at xmas however.
I got a phone call last night while I was at work informing me of this since I pre-ordered the game. The phone call informed me that it would be delayed until March (specifically). I'm excited for the game to come out so of course I was bummed but I understand the need to perfect things and I wouldn't expect any less from Rockstar.
They might have also done this because they are modding Manhunt 2 to allow that to be released (UK) and downgraded everywhere it wasnt banned. Everyone knows that when GTA 4 came out that people would forget about Manhunt 2 fast so they might have done this as a move to get the game to sell well and have a good run before people stop playing it to play GTA 4.

I don't really mind with the delay, since i'll be busy with Blue Dragon, Mass Effect and other games. Besides, I'd rather get my hands on a GTA that isn't a rushed released.
