Fear not it has been given the go ahead for release so doesnt face the hassle that Manhunt 2 did on release.

That's good to hear! I'm actually kinda pleased that GTA4 opted for a less violent approach than Manhunt 2 - some of the stuff I've seen happen in that give me the chills.
