Ok so like now everyone here knows, there will be guns in fable 2. But what im wondering is, will bringing in guns take away from the fable medivalish experience??? or would it be better, or just neutral? Post ur ideas and opinions!
I don't think it'll take away from the Fableness, or the medieval feeling.
From the game play videos and just MY general theory. I think the gun is going to stay the blunderbuss type of Gun. the pistols too. I don't think there will be that many options for the gun.
I dont think it will take anything away from the Medieval style of Fable and just think it will add a whole new element to the game. I personally think it will make the game and characters seem more lifelike as to wield just a sword in an age where guns existed would seem silly.
yup...it take place in wat seems to be colonial feel too it. and guns wont ruin it.....i hope they have pistols......i wonder if ud be able to dual wield pistols, thatd be hot....

Due to the recoil and blow back of guns around this time that wouldnt be feasible.
Not the kick as such but in old days it was more a blow back than a mere recoil. With the gunpowder explosions off the flint etc.
Keep in mind it is a game after all, Drakan dear.
We might be able to dual wield them who knows - after all, I am sure they won't put like 2 minutes reloading time or whatever those sort of blunderbusses take to reload in real life.

Yeah just a game but i would have thought duel wielding such a weapon would make people scoff and just think thats a ridiculous concept.
