The reason they removed it in halo 2 was because it was a lot like the smg but was a rifle. They wanted the weapons to be more real so they took it out but I say thatr was dumb to take it out. At least they are bringing it back. I hope they bring back the shade too

I would have thought a smart idea would to have them both, it would please fans of both weapons that way and at least you would get a choice.
