Anyone else feeling that the Elites were treated quite unfairly....?

Hopefully some updated versions will come over Live at some point as it seems a little harsh.

Yeah. Also, my friend had this crazy idea that you could play as a Brute as well. As I am a fan of brutish "orc-like" races, I was sadly dissapointed when I noticed I couldn't.

Now that I think about it, I should punch him.... reaaal good.


Anyway, I just hope we don't have to pay for more Elite armor in the terms of DLC. It just isn't fair to us 'monster' lovers.

It was stated early on that they wouldnt do that. Maybe they could at some point include it for the multiplayer but they did deny quite early that it would be an option.

Although I wonder why, actually. I suppose they're taller and wider than the other two races (not counting the forge's monitor) and that would cause problems of it's own. However, it does seem really bizarre that the only races available to blow the crud out of each other are allies XP

At any rate, as an Elite player most of the time (which isn't as detrimental as it was in the previous game. I'm seeing a lot more of them now) I do feel rather annoyed about it. Although there seems to be an assumption that absolutley everyone wants to be a Spartan (which is partially true. I still have no idea why Master Chief is so popular compared to his various armored fellows, not that they aren't popular)
