According to reports recently Xbox.com attached a director name to Master Chief's silver screen debut, then the details were mysteriously removed from the site.

A number of internet reports are highlighting this same thing, within the last 24 hours they say that little known South African Neill Blomkamp was to be the director. However, the article on Xbox.com has been removed. Which makes everyone wonder was it inaccurate, or did someone post the news alittle prematurely.

The Virtually unknown Blomkamp has been involved with visual effects in numerous TV series' and he apparently played a key role in the famous Citroen advert with the dancing car and won an award too and has also received plaudits for film-short Alive in Joburg an allegory done in a documentary style focussing on aliens living on Earth.
