[Psychosis]

My first 'attempt' at some sort of Fable-inspired poem. Excuse my lack of rhyming, I don't really like to rhyme when I write, it just seems forced. I prefer to write whatever I feel.

Must I walk alone now?
Memories begin to pass me by
A beautiful wife
A joyful son
Where did it all go wrong?

The land is descending
Falling from peace
Twisting into darkness
My time is yet to come

Whatever awaits me
I have no choice
But to stand strong
Against all odds

Whatever walks in my heart
Will walk alone

No blood left in me
My age begins to show
I cannot battle forever
Heaven holds my love
Heaven is where I shall go

My final challenge is near
One last encounter with the devil
Then my withered soul can rest for eternity
With you by my side

Whatever walks in my heart
Will walk alone

Grasp pure silver
Hold it up high
And slay corruption
For one more day
I am a Hero

My world is restored
To happiness and peace
Now I retire my sword
And lay down to sleep
Heaven is calling me

Thank you very much. I actually do a lot of writing. I have too much spare time, so I write to ease the pain of boredom.
