Heavenly Sword Wasnt Always PS3 Exclusive

Seems the game that has PS3 gamers drooling, and one of only afew games that remains exclusive to Sonys PS3 wasnt always that way. Infact it was originally an Xbox Exclusive game that was designed in 2003 but never saw the light of day on the Microsoft console.

Here is the video of the early Xbox footage and also new PS3 footage:

Its so far seen as one of the games that will start to sell the PS3 but some people are wondering if the low sales of the PS3 will come back to haunt the developers. Or that they will infact at some point release a 360 version to create more sales.

I saw that game on G4TV's live coverage of E3, and it looked pretty good, but not amazing, and I doubt it will do too much for the PS3, where as something like Assassin's Creed(PS3 and 360?) would boost the sales tremendously.

Yeah no-one can doubt the big titles like Assassins Creed (yes its 360 also if that was a question) will do better for the console but Sony doesn't boast many exclusive titles to tempt people to buy a PS3 and that game. Multiplatform titles wont help sales of PS3's to much if they are identical to 360 versions as people will opt for the cheaper option and get 360 version.

Just ask your selves would people really spend $660 all together to play one game?
Well thats basically what did it for the Xbox halo but the ps3 is $600 believe it or not theres a price difference in the consoles first prices lol

Precisely, some people are saying they will for this Metal Gear 4 and FFXIII but with some of the biggest games being multiplatform most people would go for the cheaper option. Also more people own an Xbox 360 than a PS3 obviously so it would be easier and cheaper to get games like GTA 4, DMC 4 and Assassins Creed etc for that.
