Help plz(will, warrior, archer)

i want to be a mage but i have no iadea wat i should up.(skills etc) and wat weapons
to use??
or should i be a different type of character warrior/archer/ a bit of all. and wat i need for it weapons and armory/skills.

well if you have a pile of "Skill" potions then you can pretty much level up all the skills you want. People end up doing that anyway..but I would suggest Sheild, maybe Multi arrow. Definately all the magic ups you can do. Iunno. Basically do what you want. there's no set way to make a character.
And you can use whatever weapon you want. but you might want one with a mana augmentation, or buy an augmentation. PM me for more questions if you want.

Thing about Fable is: It's a very easy game. Yes, its true! No matter what skills you focus on, you can still beat the game. It's really up to what you want to be!

Want to be a big barbarian cleaving things in meele combat? No problem! Want to throw around fireballs and fry bandits into crisps with Lighting? Also no problems!

The only spell that makes Fable go from Easy to Very Easy is Physical Shield - with it you'll have like double the life - both Health and Mana, and you can build up amazing Combat Multipliers with ease.

Slow time is also a very crucial spell, as it simply lets you get it many more attacks than time would allow.

Enflame is a great attack spell - it doesn't cost much to cast and hits multiple creatures that are surrounding you, and builds your combat multiplier well.

Berserk is great for breaking through blocking opponents (like Thunder, assassins, minions), and increases melee weapon damage by up to 3 times (at max Berserk level).

As previously said, Physical Shield is probably the best will power available, since it blocks incoming attacks, absorbs some of the damage, and any damage it doesn't absorb drains mana instead of life. It also prevents scarring, so if you like your hero prim, proper, and fresh as a daisy, keep Physical Shield on when you enter combat.

Multi-Arrow is a fantastic boss spell. At max level, Multi-Arrow will shoot five arrows at 1/3 (I think) strength at one target. Usually, Multi-Arrow will be wasted on regular enemies, and may strike targets you do not wish to hit (traders, hostages)

The two spells Infernal Wrath and its good counterpart are good visual spells, but they take a bit of mana. They are good for minion slaying, as two spells from this branch at max level will take down any minions in its area of effect.

Force Push is kind of nice (and often amusing) since it doesn't cost much to cast, pushes foes and friends away from you, and will increase damage should the afflicted foes hit any hard objects. However, be careful this is an indiscriminate spell, unlike Infernal Wrath, Lightning, Enflame, and Fireball. If you have people following you or villagers nearby, they will be affected. However, if it is your goal to raze everyone in a village, it is a very fun spell to do it with.

Heal life is a good spell if the people following you are damaged, but it does take a lot of mana to cast.

Multi-Hit is just like Multi-Arrow, except it affects the sword. However, it doesn't last as long, needing to be recast after every blow. But the damage it does is very good with a good weapon.

Those are the spells I used most in my plays through Fable, but feel free to use and max out the other spells, they are pretty fun too.


As to being an Archer, the bow is a great weapon, not only for getting in the first hit, but it builds up your combat modifier well, and most enemies cannot block arrows. Cast Slow Time and Multi-Arrow and zing, enemies die reeeeeal fast. Augment a Master Bow with 3 silver augmentations, and undead will have no lifespan.



The sword is your staple close range weapon. Equip Berserk, Multi-Hit, and slow time, and carve through your opposition. If an enemy blocks an attack, flourish them and down they go. Use enflame as they hit the ground for extra damage. It is slightly difficult to be just a swordsman, as there are so many good spells to go with the sword.

It also makes your attack un-blockable, so it's a very good ability to use against enemies that block alot, like minions.


Oh Seph, I love Assassin's Rush. It's a cool spell and if you randomly cast it as you run around you'll do an animeish boost of speed that lets you travel faster.

Also, use it on a troll to get behind him, and he'll be all confused looking around his feet for you as you hack away at his bottocks.

You want to increase your accuracy for a start and if you choose to wield a heavy crossbow then you will need to be stronger too.

I use it whenever I travel. I played kingdomhearts and I got all confused because the controls weren't the same.
