Help in the Prison...

Im at the point in the game where i have to help my mother escape from the prison after getting all of my gear back. I make it all the way to the boss in the chamber, but no matter how fast i try to be, or how i try to do it the creature hits the mother with the tentacles one time and she is dead...is there anything i can do to prevent this? i thought most guys had a certain amount of hits they could take. Any help at all would be appreciated. Thx

ive tried it about 15 times now, and every time i do, it attacks my mother first thing, kills her, and then i end up using my energy to prevent myself from smashing my keyboard while yelling obsenities at the computer.

Well, once you enter, move to the left but don't let scarlet follow, a little to the left.

Lock on and start shooting with your bow.
Or, do it ther hard way, with your sword.
Or with Will.

Soon enough, you should kill it, you need to move away from scarlet, first.

I heard if you die in fable, you crap your pants.

The Kraken should be easy, if you trained somewhat at that graveyard then spend points.

Yeah...that is strange...hmm..what kind of bow do you have? If it keeps hitting your mother step away from her. Use the slow time spell for the slaying to become easier.

I ran around the hole time killing each tentackle my mom got hit 1nce put she didnt die...... and when she does get hurt heal her..............

the moving a little to the left worked, but she followed, and this time when she got hit she got real close to death, but the hotkey'd heal spell worked out pretty good, and i still got a really crappy bow, ive only got an Ebony Crossbow, any ideas on where i can get a better one? thx for the help Chicken Chaser

No prob.

You can get Skorms Bow, 220 Damage.
Go to the The Temple Of Avo, hire the guy in white, then to oakvale, hire the guy near the garden (Im not sure if he's there yet)
Anyways, make sure you have a Moonfish, if not you can wait it out, And also, you can go to the bandit camp and hire the guy there too.
Or even bring townsfolk or your spouses.
Make them follow you.
Go to the chapel of skorm, and eat the moonfish or wait it out at midnight and quickly talk to the guy that does the sacrifices, it will be easy if you are good, but really hard if your evil.
You need to get ATLEAST 800 evil points from sacrificing.
200 is necromancer title? 400 is 6 years knocked off, 800 is skorms bow.

2 make it a better chance of gettin da bow of skorm u must be a good guy max ur good status out and where bright armor and it gives it 2 u n like 1 sacrifice

i never had a problem with kraken, i did have a problem with seeing myself (a 65 year old fully evil dude with no hair and a "wu-man-chu" mustach) in british underwere

Make sure you have the Heal life spell at least level 2 and cast it every time she gets hit. Eventually the monster raises its head and starts spitting at you. This is the best time to hit it. If you have slowtime at least level 2 and a surround shield at least level 3 then this when activated makes it a lot simpler. But even if your mum gets hit just once you must heal her or her health bar goes down rapidly after each attack. Always keep her health at max. And your own of course, and remember to have loads of mana as heal life takes a lot of it. Hope this helps and good luck. P.S. It helps if you have a heavy sharp weapon rather than a light one, but you need level 3 strength or more to carry it.

YAY! i'm 18 AGAIN!
but i'm still huge from full stats. SoA is awsome, still not as powerfull as my solus great sword, but it's way faster.
ya know i stuck with the title "piemaster" untill i got the SoA, then i got malificus. twas funny "looks like piemaster has been eating all the pie!"
or "i wouldent wan't to be misses piemaster" he he he he!
