now before we begin i will just say i am no fool i have played and beaten fable before!
ok lets go

i have a new comp so i've had to do everything again i've already finished my goody goody character (wit skorms bow ) im now doing my evil char ive just killed twin blade and i decided to get my favourite ranged weapon (cause it rocks and you know it XD) usually because there aren't many evil/good choices yet so technically im neutral. i know its easier for good chars to get skorms for some reason, but even wit a neutral char it normally only takes me 3 body gaurds at midnight to get it but ive done over 7 and still nothing.... even if i sacrifice at midnight he still sez " a pathetic contribution!".
so i decided to try killin traders for it but no-one wants o follow me :S WHY!

(and on a random note) i also found that you can fish in the chapel of skorm for a moon fish which came in handy XD

The more evil you are the longer it will take for you to get Skorm's Bow, I've been at half good and gotten it sacrificing the mercenary from Twin Blade's camp and just him.
If you are halfway through evil or even higher it could take from 5-12 sacrifices, the mercenaries seem to give higher chances though.

Sacrifice the merc from twinblades camp at midnight and you'll get the bow with one sacrifice. Thanks for the fish tip btw.

Not every time, it is random. I have gone before the Trader Escort quest and gotten the bow by sacrificing the bodyguard from Bowerstone. I get to the chapel, tele to B/S, get the bodyguard, recall back to the chapel, save the game, then sacrifice at midnight. If I don't get the bow I load the save and do it til I get the bow.

Well, it works every single time with the Twinblade merc if you do it right and he's beaten Twinblade so...

I've heard it works without fail (whatever your alignment) if you sacrifice a priest from the temple of Avo.

Tell everyone how to do it right, we would all like to know I'm sure. I liked to get it before TB when I played alot, but most folks probably won't mind waiting until then, it's not far into the game.

That's great, but you said it must be done right. If you've learned a certain way to do it that get's the bow on the first try every time, share it please. What does it take to do it right and get the bow on the first try?

still havn't gotten it yet but got bored wit repeating have done the arena and killed whisper but i decided to stop at the temple of avo and boost my alignment back up (goody gooodies get it easier ) i got the title necromancer which id like to keep but no bow as of yet will keep trying
BTW - i have sacrificed every body guard in the game that i know of!; temple of avo, twinblades camp, bowerstone tavern, oakvale outside the graveyard
(fishing tip - works every time so long as you go in, walk half way up to the altar , just behind the sacrificing dude, then fish 90 degrees right "maybe with a ordinary fish imbetween moonfish so dont complain" hope this helped)

If I'm good enough to use the Thanks expression, then I know I'm good enough to get the Bow easily.
Like jwc2200, I always hire the merc in Bowerstone Tavern. And one evil merc is enough if done correctly. (Skorm likes evil mercs and... women. lol) Make sure to skip the cutscenes too when doing the sacrifice.

Your wives won't follow you out of towns. The priests won't even follow you at all. Try some husbands...
