Hero Dolls... help?

I'm trying to collect all the hero dolls, but for some reason, I can't seem to get the one from the guy in Card Sorting at Knothole Glade. I've completed the game in 27.9 seconds (my best time), and still no luck. Anyone know how fast I have to do this?

I hate them hero dolls. THere was only one I couldn't get. I think it was Briar Rose.

That one frustrated me so much - I managed to do it in just under 25 seconds (with, like, a nanosecond to spare) and then the stupid Xbox decided to choose that exact moment to seize up on me so I couldn't save and have never been able to beat that score since. Can you not steal it from somewhere?

Two words for you...Slow Time. Max-out and use that power before starting to sort cards and completing the challenge in less than 25 seconds should be easy for you.

Slow time never appears to do anything for me but I guess it could be helpful and I thought the game with the briar rose doll didn't get affected by slow time. I remember ONE card game wasn't affected.

I got it!!! and yeah, in 24.9 seconds. It was seriously sickening how many times I tried before I finally succeeded. I did use slow time, but it didn't do anything for me. I think I've only seen it work in one game... which I believe was guess the addition, but I could be wrong.

Anyway, I've got the dolls now, but the teacher won't talk to me about them. I'm assuming I have to finish the book collection first??

To my knowledge there's a little kid who approaches you and kicks off the quest...but I'm not entirely sure about this.

That's right...one of the little boys approached me about the Hero Dolls matter while the kids were playing outside of the school. IIRC, the boy followed me around quite a bit before I realized I could actually "talk" with him (i.e. he had a green aura/outline surrounding him).
