I have scowered all of albion, including houses in every village in TLC, and the book quest is still not complete. Also, apparently, until I complete the book quest, I can not talk to the teacher about the dolls! What do I do?

Here’s where you can get the dolls:

• Briar Rose Hero Doll: From playing “card pairs” in Bowerstone South (a score of 24.7 seconds is enough to win the doll)
• Whisper Hero Doll: From playing “coin golf” in Oakvale (a score of 11 is enough to win the doll)
• Twinblade Hero Doll: From playing “spot the addition” in Twinblade’s Camp (a score of 22.5 seconds is enough to win the doll)
• Scarlet Robe Hero Doll: From playing “card sorting” in Knothole Glade (a score of 24.8 seconds is enough to win the doll)
• Thunder Hero Doll: For sale in the Arena Anteroom and in Bowerstone North
• Maze Hero Doll: From playing “shove ha’penny” at Hook Coast (a score of 32 in enough to win the doll)
• Scythe Hero Doll (TLC): From playing “coin golf” in Snowspire Village (a score of 9 is enough to win the doll)

It should not depend upon there book collection quest

Winning the bright wizard hat from the school is pretty easy
Here are the books we used to get the dark wizard hat:

A Love Story
The Pale Balverine
The Tale of Maxley
The Tale of Twinblade
Eyes of a Killer
The Guild of Zeroes
The Repentant Alchemist
The Sock Method
You Are Not a Bad Person

The first four can be found in the Heroes’ Guild, and the last five can be found in Bowerstone South. If you want to play further into the game, then you could also try books like The Windbreaker Rulebook and The Ugly Guide, both found in Oakvale.

Here's the problem, I gave him all of the books I could find, and he just keeps asking for more... And everytime I try to approach him about the dolls, he asks about books....

I think you have to have all 7 dolls before he will talk about it

Did you finish the game? Does the Hero Doll quest still appear in your current quest list?

Yes, I got every doll, I finished the game, and yes, it does still appear, at the bottom of the list.

All you have to do is get one hero doll. Then a little kid will run up to you and tell you about them.

Sorry. I just woke up. My brain isn't registering very well.
That is strange indeed. Maybe try when he's not at the school? He's usually in the pub.

I'll try at the pub, but I tryed when school was out, in the middle of the town, and all he would say is to come back during school hours... I'lltyr the pub, and report back... unless double posting is forbidden...

I've had trouble getting it to work after completing the game. I'm not sure if anyone else has had this problem.

sure enough, it doesn't work in the pub either.... I guess I would have to try to hunt down a list of the locations of every book in albion, to hurry up and finish the book quest... <_<

I gave the teacher all those books plus more and he never gave me the dark will user's hat? he keeps talking about "The Book of Spells" and won't do anything. Does anyone know where to buy the stradegy guide and for how much?

Depends what country you live in of course.
