I have been encountering save game problems while playing Fable II. I later read that you can not save the game while still a boy. I just finished the tutorial, or so I thought. I went to the Academy and tutored with a girl. I took my final test and was told I passed the test. I was taken into a small room and was told that I am on my own. The game paused, autosave came on, I saved the game and exited the game right there.
I later came back and started the game only to find myself and the beginning of the game again.
Is something wrong here? I'm running Vista and the game appears to be running well under Vista

From what i can decifer, you just need to finish the guild or "tutorial" then save, if you didnt think this on your own your more camp then a row of tents

I restarted the game again; only this time I went out of the school door after I graduated. I saved the game there and exited. Restarted the game loaded a world save and sure enough; I did NOT have to find the teddybear again. Now I am off the take care of some bees.
