Re: A Hero's Journey

Ok thanks, b. Ask for a more exact location (pull out your map)

Realizing that "Silver Crest" inst enough to go off of you decide to ask her for a more exact location of where you are. "Do you happen have a more current map that shows this location?" you ask as you start to pull off the the blankets and attempt to stand only to become ingulfed in unbareable pain as your entier body feels numb in pain.
"Easy Hero I know you eager to countinue on your noble quest that brought you here but you must rest, your left arm is shatterd in two. The other seems dislocated at best, and there two or more broken ribs; you've also recived several deep lashes across your chest and back I've manage to stop the bleeding but they'er not completly healed. But like I said you are healing fast so it is up to you." She said with a general look of concern on her face as she saw you struggling in pain. What will you do?
a. stay in bed and rest.
b. Leave and continue on dispite your injures and lack of knowledege
c. Same as a but after try exploring around town maybe getteing a better idea of where you are.
d. Ask how long your wounds are exspected to heal.

Re: A Hero's Journey

a. stay in bed and rest.

You decide that resting and letting your wounds heal is the best choice of action and you soon doze off after the lady leaves the room.
You start to rember a part of your childhood: playing with friends around an old tree pretending to be a great Hero..And with that you fall in a deep sleep.
The next day you awake to the sounds of thunder in the distance. Adjusting your eyes you find your self back in the same room, you slowly start to sit up and for the first time look our self over. Your coverd in a couple of bandages but you can still see some of the areas of your skin that where cut, you notice that your hand that had been impaled earlier has been neatly wrapped up in some sort of soft silk like fabric and feels alot better, you left arm is in a sort of brace but is still moveable and also feels much better, You right arm feels fine and you find your self releaved of almost all the pain in your body from yesterday; so it seems resting was indeed a good choice.

Looking around you notice all your belongings and a pile of bloody rags you also find that your leather armor is pretty messed up and note that you should get it repaired when given the proper time.
Now that your standing and are able to move what is your next move?
a. Gather up your belongings and go outside and try to find someone with a map?
b. Head out of town and attempt to make your way on foot. Alone without proper direction (and your not fully healed)
c. Stay in the room and wait for the Lady to come back.

Re: A Hero's Journey

Look you guys, good writing takes time, patience, and motivation. Three things of which I sadly lack at this moment. When I find the time to do things I will. I have a job which I need to do, not sure if you guys have one but when you do you realize its importance. I don't have the time to type right now so just lay off and you'll get a story between today and friday.

Re: A Hero's Journey

"Who are you?" you ask. "My name is Marguerite, but you can call me Maggie", you stare at her and realize that Sepia isn't even a contender when compared to Maggies beauty. "Hero? Hero?" she says. "What? Oh, sorry..." you reply, "I think I lost you for a second, is there anything else you' like to know?"

a. Where am I?
b. What do you do?
