Re: A Hero's Journey
Once you finish cleaning off yourself you take the hobbes axe as a trophy, and for your first weapon. Walking casually back to the guild swinging your new trophy about you spot Sepia looking dazed. You duck behind a large shrub in fear of here noticing you. She stumbles around for a minute or so and then is taken by a gaurd up to Mazes study possibly to have the same lecture as you. You walk into the tavern to see the midday congregation of people eating lunch. Swinging the bloody axe to the air everyones eyes are upon you and you exclaim "While in the Guild woods I killed a wood Nymph, and took on two full grown hobbes without clothes or weapons!" You hear only a few people saying "Thats cool." or "Wow, that took bravery" but most of the crowd is unimpressed.
Okay, just for times sake I want to skip forward a few years so we don't have a mediocre story where we only talk about the guild.

Re: A Hero's Journey
You have spent the majority of your life in the Guild and you are now an apprentice and you will be graduating in one month. You have cleaned up your act and have maintained a steady relationship with Sepia. As you near the end of your time at the guild you take in as much of your lessons as possible. Now you are skilled with the use of a bow and arrow, axe, sword, and have learned how to correctly use four spells, lightening, fireball, assassin rush, and multi-strike. Just last week a young boy joined the guild. You don't know his name, only that he was rescued by Maze from the Oakvale raid. Today is free for you so do you decide to:
a. Practice your will powers
b. practice melee skills
c. practice archery

Re: A Hero's Journey
You wander over to the archery range with your oak longbow and begin to shoot at the dummies. You get your first shot straight through the head of the dummy and you hear from behind you "Not bad, but I could do better." You turn to see Xugan, a 26 year old apprentice who never seemed to do very well in his studies and has been at the Guild since it was attacked almost 13 years ago. He is stuck up and has been scarred since the day his father was killed. "I bet you couldn't do that again." he says. "Just watch" as you sink another arrow through the dummies face. He looks unimpressed still and challenges you to an Archery contest. Do you say:
a. "Okay, here and now."
b. "How about a sword duel"

Re: A Hero's Journey
You say "How about a sword duel instead?" "Sure, just another thing to beat you at." YOu two walk over to the melee ring and unsheath your swords. You pull out your steel longsword with a silver and oak hilt and Xugan pulls out his tattered yet scary looking katana. You get into your stances and the battle begins. As you swing your sword across his bodyy width wise he dodges to the side. As he does that you pull a defencive move just barely blocking his sword from slicing into you. You realize this is no "fun and games" for him, he is serious. For five minutes straight you duel it out quickly drawing a crowd. You hear shouts like "GO Xugan!" or "Get him Sauron!!!". Xugan does a wild swing and knicks your left hand pretty bad. As you cringe back he slices again this time tearing your Apprentice robes. You have had enough so you pull yourself together and swing with all your might. YOur thick steel sword smacks his thin razor like katana and breaks it almost in half. The extreme force of your combined swings shakes through your hands stinging and shaking them. Now both of you unarmed, your adrenaline pumping, and your primal instincts flaring you jump onto Xugan. You pummel him with your leathery hands feeling his nose break against your knuckles. He fights back and hits you in the gut and without knowing it you cast a fireball straight into his chest that engulfs as far up to his face. As he runs around like a cat with a dog at its heel he falls into the stream going through the Guild Courtyard. As you lay on the dusty ground covered in his blood you can't help but feel bad for what you had done, even though it was out of self-defence. You see the other apprentices fishing Xugan out of the stream and he looks nothing like what he once resembled. You notice people crowding around you and picking you up forcing you to keep your hands behind your back. YOu are led to Mazes study where he is told what happened and he does a quick trial. He says because you were defending yourself you are obsolved of any punishments. He lets you go to do what you want now. Do you decide to:
a. Go straight to bed
b. Get a drink from the tavern
c. Get some medical attention

Re: A Hero's Journey
You walk into the tavern at take a seat at the bar. You say "One Kraken Ale" to wich the bartender replies "This is on the house, finally its time someone taught that as-hole Xugan a lesson. He walks around here like the Mayor of Bowerstone sometimes. Now he'll double take if he ever sees you again." "Thanks, that drink means a lot to me. Say, do you know what happened to Oakvale?" the bartender says "Yeah, the whole town was masacred by Bandits, torched and all. Only one survived, some boy who Maze saved. Seems a little shady don't you think? Maze turns up at the exact time only to save one boy. I'm not implying anything though." Now hearing this news you know that Sepia won't be happy at all, she was from Oakvale and for all you know she may not even know yet. Do you decide to:
a. tell Sepia the bad news
b. Let her find out herself, it will be less painful
c. go to bed
d. get yourself cleaned up

Re: A Hero's Journey
After you down your Kraken Ale you head to the guild Medical Ward. You walk in and see Xugan either sleeping or passed out on a bed of wooden planks. One of the women walks over and says "Lets get you cleaned up. By the way you sure did a number on Xugan, he doesn't even look human anymore. He looks like a balverine victim." She begins to pour a sweet smelling liquid that stings onto your cut hand. She slowly puts several stitches into the cut and then gets a wet cloth and washes your face off. Other than the cut and being covered in blood you are fine. She tells you to give her your apprentice shirt so she can stitch it up. You now decide to:
a. Go find Sepia
b. Get some rest
c. talk to the Guildmaster about your gradutation

Re: A Hero's Journey
Good to see you here Skorms Son. I actually won't be gone until around 1:00 today(my time, don't know about you). So until then I will take over.
You go to find Sepia, but she is nowhere to be found. You check her room, the tavern, the library, and even the map room. Nowhere! As you go searching toward the guild woods you hear something. You turn a corner and then you see Sepia....With ANOTHER GUY! you decide to:
a. Wait and see what happens
b. run over and punch that as-hole for being with your girl
c. knock that bitch for being a skank
