Re: A Hero's Journey

I feel like the Rolling Stones doing this... But I was bored and I hope no one minds if I give you all one more story, maybe someone will pick this up again. (I'm sure it won't be as popular this time, and if it dies again I don't care.)

Choice B:

You feel the time is right and you decide to get the wedding planned. It all goes smoothly, and for a day the hard troubles of your world are put aside.

7 months have passed and your life has gone well, Sepia is now pregnant, but strange winds are stirring. For most of these 7 months you have been hearing about Jack of Blades return and that the climax of something amazing will soon occur. You have noticed that people are acting differently, good folk turned shady, more patrols of guards, and that one boy you remember from the Guild has been fiercly doing quests.

You think to yourself,
"The boy from Oakvale, yes thats him, he is an arena champion and he has been doing some amazing feats... Does he have anything to do with Jack?"

You know something is up and you no longer want to be in the dark about it, will you:

A. Go to Maze, he's always been good to you
B. Wait and see if you can find that boy from Oakvale
C. Go to your friendly neighborhood pub!

Re: A Hero's Journey

Very Very Very cool story!!

It took me a whole day reading it, but it was hell worth all trouble.. It has so much sides, at first I thought Sauron would eventually end up as camp leader of Bandits, being Twinblade and then fighting the Hero from Fable..

I do think it is an excellent idea to merge this story with the boy form Fable, so I'll go with B too.. Maybe they can both explore the Hobbe Caves together, I enjoy reading about fights..

Or is it dead again?

Re: A Hero's Journey

Your long awaited story

You decide to go find that boy from Oakvale, simply on the hunch that he has something to do with all this. As you stroll toward the Pub hoping to find him there you immediately see him strolling into North Bowerstone, probably going to see the Mayor (who is also his own special booty call). You sprint toward him and up the stairs, but you catch a step and trip. You busted your lip, but when you look up he has already entered through the gates and the guard is eyeing you strangely. You stroll up to him casually, acting as if you aren't bleeding severely from your face. You've had worse, you think.

The guard stops you and says "Show me your pass."

"Pass," you reply "I need a pass?"

"Yes, the mayor decreed long ago that to enter North Bowerstone you need a pass."

"Okay... So how do I get one?"

"I dunno, I just check them, I don't care about them."

So, do you:

a. Use your renown to get in
b. Bribe him
c. Ask if you can do some favors for him to get in
d. Explain your situation and hope he sympathises
e. Offer to buy him a drink
f. Kick his ***.
