Hmm... The Force Unleashed.

I've just played the demo. Awesome game, I'm a sucker of "godly" games such as Populous and Black and White so this was right up my ally with frying guys with lightning or flick them soaring to their doom while they tried to kill me with their peashooters.

Satisfying.

However, I noticed that the little guys were almost as good at killing each other as I was at killing them; throwing grenades at their comrade's feet, taking cover behind/shooting at explosive barrels and outright shooting their buddies in the back!

Maybe they are supposed to be in a panic or something, and it is the first level of the game (I assume) so... I dunno.

Otherwise I feel this game might be brought down by it's bad AI.

Anyone else tried the demo?

I beat the demo, and to me, it has that assassin's creed type feel, where it's sick nasty, but I think it's going to get really repetitive, really fast, the thing it has going for it is the storyline though

Don't know about that. Granted, I didn't know much about the game to begin with, but don't you unlock more Force abilities? Like Choke? I mean, come on, Vader's Apprentice without CHOKE?!

I go to Lucas Arts, and watch the demos'. Can't wait to play.

It's really going to be a challenge.

the demo wasnt bad, the game is definetly worth playing. think i will buy it, after i beat fable 2 that is.

If Fable 2 was released next month, I would be getting that for my Birthday. But, it's not, so I'll take the Force Unleashed, with a gold membership.

I really hope the demo is nowhere near the finished product. There are tons of little annoyances in it that makes it feel low quality.

For example, there is no separate animation between dead and alive enemies in your Force Grip - if you pick up a dead enemy with it, he will spring back to life and struggle to get free.

Or if you use Force Grip to place them high above you they will suicide dive down, aiming for their spawning point...

You learn new abilities and the little green orbs you pick up go towards upgrading things.

The demo was an early build as far as im aware as the animations and general look of the parts in the end cutscenes look much better quality. Also there seems to be extra animations in those movies to the same moves that you used in the demo.

I imagine like most games, we;ll have to gain a certain level of experience to defeat, certain enemies. I just wish I didn't have to defeat the Rebels, also.

We are suppose to get rid of anyone who knows about the apprentice. I'll be saying sorry, as I get them.

But I will.

I wish this one was coop, and then my evil friend players, could defeat the good guys, and I would concentrate on the Stormtroopers.

But I bet it's still a great game.

When i learnt the combos and starting playing around with them and mixing and chaining them together it started to get quite fun. Cant wait until i have them all in the game and lots of people to massacre.

I can't play PC games.

But I have studied the combos, at Lucas Arts, and it does look amazing. I've never seen such power, with the force. That's why, I have to have it.

However, killing "the bad guys" in this case is also evil, because you are a "bad guy", so it's backstabbing and betrayal!
