HodgePodge's Hodgepodge of Userbars
Well, seeing as I have way too much time on my hands, I've decided to set up shop here in lovely, sunny, virtual Barrow Fields. I know that other (and much superior) graphic request artists offer userbars, but most people don't take advantage of that. So my shop is all about userbars. I can make still userbars, or ones that cycle. All I ask is that you include a small link back to this thread. So let the requests flood (or trickle) begin!
Please use the following criteria for requests: - Still or Cycle Userbar Note: Cycle userbars tend to take longer, so please try to keep the # of Userbars to cycle through reasonable. For sake of time, the MAX is 12.
- Main Color of Userbar.
- The image you would like me to use.
- If you want a Cycle Userbar, please tell me how many Userbars you would like it to cycle through, and describe each one using this format.
- The text on the Userbar, as well as the color of said text.
- Anything else that you might want to let me know.
- I now offer a limited range of Userbar Effects. I can add fades to any part of the userbar, as well as color changes, and animation within the userbar itself, such as a car or fish *cough*ruler_of_albion*co ugh*

Below is some of my work. Should give you an idea of what I'm capable of

Nice little idea +rep, surprised no-one has asked for many userbars here before.

Re: HodgePodge's Hodgepodge of Userbars
Sure. If possible, I'd like one that cycles.
First one that fades left-to-right black-through-blue-to-white like a spectrum and reads "Walker".
Then one split into two halves-- one side black and orange with a Baltimore Oriole (the bird) the other red and blue with a Washington Nationals "W".
Then one burgundy and gold saying "Go Skins!".
Then one with lots and lots of text: "Nerd: Books, Games, Naval Architecture and Vexillogy. I'll do it all!" This one can be any color, really, but I'd prefer: black/gold, burgundy/gold, red/blue, blue/black, or... well, I can't think of any more.
Then one like your projectego member one, but in (these are all options): dark blue, black/gold, black/orange, red/blue, or red/white/blue.
So... is that excessive, or enough to keep you busy? Possible, or overly enthusiastic? Do I need to change anything to make it easier?
Oh, and if possible I'd also like to get the individual components to use elsewhere.
I'll get you the oriole and the Washington logo later. I can't now because I'm at work and don't want to fiddle with getting the images and plugging my USB into the desk computer and all. So I'll get those when I get homw.

Re: HodgePodge's Hodgepodge of Userbars
Yay, my first request As long as you get me the images Walker, I should be able to do it. Do you have a color preference for the text? If not, I can just put what I think looks best. I'll get started now. Wait...okay, now.

Walker: I've got all of it done except the second bar, for which I need those pics. So either post 'em here or PM 'em to me and I'll finish it up

Awesome idea, HodgePodge! Man, I love userbars; they're just so darn cute!
I've also included a link to this thread from the frontpage, HP. Keep up the good work!

Re: HodgePodge's Hodgepodge of Userbars
Okay, I was lazy and just went with the general logos instead of finding the bird alone or the "W" or the "DC" for the Nats. Here they are:
And the colors for the text can be whatever looks good so long as the other colors are what I wanted. Do I need to resize the logos, or can you do that? I just "borrowed" them straight from other sites without doing anything to them.
Oh, and on the subject of Spanish classes? @#%#$ I took two years, Spanish 1 and Spanish 2 at my middle school. My teachers eithe rsucked (my preferred theory) or I sucked. I didn't learn a damn thing outside of a little vocabulary and the whole concept of the ending thingamajigs for every damn word. -vamos and -amos and -o and -a and all. And I got thoroughly sick of "usted" versus "tu". Why the hell do you need two words for "you???"

Re: HodgePodge's Hodgepodge of Userbars
Nah, I can resize O, and for the one with all the text, I had to shorten it slightly to make it fittable
