Can be quite stressful at times and annoying as other motorists can be a pain in the *** but it will be worth it in the end. Im learning myself, got my test coming up soon.

The bit that sucks is that my mums gonna we working until thursday, and she doesn't get home till late. So that means our car will be absent. And my dad doesn't want to have my first lesson at night

We have several cars (though, admittedly, by "several" I mean two that we bought because the other two couldn't make it forty miles without something breaking) and I don't have any issues getting to drive at night... the problem is getting my senile old father to let me drive outside of my neighboorhood, miscellaneous parking lots, and the roads through parks. The #@^#$ won't let me go on anything faster than 25 mph (I'm too lazy to find a converter for that, but it's not fast. It's "we're driving through a little nieghborhood"-speed.

I bow to your apparently superior knowledge. I really should remember those conversions, but I don't. I mean, pretty much everyone but us uses metric and celsisus-- hell, we even use metric and celsius or metric and kelvin in science (well, in all my science classes recently, anyway, and my digital electronics pre-engineering class)-- but I still can't manage to remember any conversions.

As a matter of fact, the only one that sticks is that celsisus+273=Kelvin. Unless, of course, it's not 273 and it's another number.

Well, I'm lucky enough to have been brought up with the metric system. I only bother remembering the 1.6 ks in a mile because its the only one you need to know if your not a scientist or a business man. And moneys changing all the time.
