I think the thing you need most is to try to learn Windows, then try your hand at modding.
For the WinZip go to your Control Panel, Add Remove Programs, go from there.

yeah go to edit/uninstall programs(not sure, i got swedish version) and find winzip in the list of programs and click the button edit/uninstall and uninstall it.
