i don't shave yet (well at least not my bottom lip) and plus i use an electric shaver.

EDIT: now it is starting to burn slightly when i move my mouth too much. ow.

Ouch, that sounds painful. The only thing I ever pierced was my ears. I almost backed out after the first ear was pierced. I have a very low pain tolerance.

So let me get this straight, you pierced your lip... thats situated on your face (unless your some sort of mutant) and your hoping your parents dont notice. At what part of the process did you think that it was a good idea and that you would be able to hide it? Plan on wearing a Burqa for rest of your life or something?
