for example. id have 1000 general XP points, 300, 100, 200, for strength(?), skill, and will. i spend it on magic spells and my general XP goes down to 700, and my will xp goes down to zero. but i could still buy more spells if i want to even though my will xp is zero as long as my general XP is enough. i don't understand.

well... what do you mean?
general experience is just that - general... while Will exp can only be used to upgrade Will, general exp. can be used for whatever you choose...
