Violent video games blamed for Virginia Tech slayings

So far there is no evidence that Cho played a video game in his life, let alone a violent one.

it's one thing to hold the misguided notion that people don't have free will and mindlessly act out anything they see on a screen...
but for someone who has never played a violent game?
Jack Thompson doesn't like these games either, so I guess any schools near him had best watch out!
I've had enough of him taking every tragedy that occurs and using it to shamelessly promote his ridiculous world view...

Haha. No, the main problem is the right to carry firearms you Americans have. You aint heard anything about a Swedish school shooting because here you can't go to the supermarket and buy a Ak-47 like you would a slice of ham.

This, with the combination of instable persons like Cho is a dangerous mix. True, he might've killed his girlfriend in either case, guns or not, but without a freaking army supply of firearms and ammo he wouldn't have taken out nearly 40 other innocent persons.

Alright Jacktompson blames violent video games, I believe Cho was stressed otu and straight up depressed, but thats beside the point, Thompson blames video games, when only children of 5-8 act out what they see in their game, We should make thompson play a gviolent but equaly adictive video game, and see what he does. I mean hell, how many school shootings have there been in America, I only know of two (there probubly was a couple more). But the two I know of Are Colimbin, and Virginia tech, Was Colimbin an acted out video game? know they were mently insane and sucidle. ANd how can you act otu a video game for a school shooting, too my knowledge there has never been a video game about shooting your classmates.

Anyhow, like the saying goes "Guns dont kill people. People with guns kill people". For a person to act out what they've seen in a game, that person must've been a loon to begin with. Let a murderous lunatic play GTA and put him in a car and he'll be running over people in no time.

Grr. People blaming video games is just stupid. "Doctor" Phil is blaming it on video games too. Its stupid to say something like that, because there is no evidence that Cho played video games. Or if there was, I haven't heard about it. The guy was a physcopath. He was depressed, and wrote many sadistic stories. I've been depressed before, and I've been in the same boat he was in. Writing sadistic stuff, wanting to kill my enemies. Luckily I agreed to help, and as you can see, I play video games, and I have no intention of going out and murdering 32 defensless people.
