Bloody hell, the CPU usage is up to 100%...I dont know, but that sounds a tad bit too much!

Apparently there are like 3 seperate driver downloads that can help, ive posted the 4.2 and now here is the:

Open Drivers - Free Download ATI RADEON Family Graphics Driver CATALYST 4.11 Windows 2000/XP

AND

ATI Radeon Catalysts 5.1

Something tells me you need to stop a few processes running in the background (bound to be alot of unneeded ones running in there)

Download:

CCleaner.com

Then have a look at Start Up options and disable what you think you dont need etc.

Yup that's where I was headed

I have a feeling that's the same reason that fablefreak can get freeroam to work.

Wow, this is so strange how the CPU useage just jumps up to 100% from 1-10% as soon as I start KOTOR. And that is just going to the starting menue, and if that takes 100% of my CPU I sorta understand why the rest of the game acts like it does.

But my CPU should be more than able to handle it, gawd dang it,,

You tried disabling afew backgroud tasks then?

Well, I don't have alot of them, taken from that my normal CPU usage is only 10% max - and then when KOTOR starts it kicks up to 100% and stays there... Most of the stuff belongs to "System", and I dont really wanna mess with that.
